Circular projects
SMF are specialized within sustainability and circular thinking. Throughout the years we have proudly been part of all sorts of circular projects trying to push the boundaries of tomorrows material and design.
By always keeping a curious and open mind we love to partner up with likeminded companies, organisations and experts. We believe that through collaboration and knowledge-sharing we can lift way higher than on our own.

Uniqlo Flagshipstore, Copenhagen
Bespoke furniture for Uniqlo Flagshipstore, Copenhagen. Chairs made from employees of Uniqlo's old clothes.
The Upcycl, Århus
By putting the waste material first in our designproces we created a functional and aesthetically pleasing modular furniture for The Upcycl's showrooms. The furniture is made entirely from production waste from Danish local productions. The measurement of the waste parts dictates the measurement of the furniture to avoid any post-processing and keep the CO2-e as low as possible.
The piece was exhibited at Danish Architecture Center and Designmuseum Denmark In Copenhagen.
Women's Match Race, Skovshoved
Medals designed and produced for The Royal Danish Yacht Club as first, second and third place prices at women's matchrace Worldcup.
Medals made from a mixture of shredded seaweed from the coast of Denmark and natural based biodegradable plastics.
Redbull Midsummer Vikings, Copenhagen
Together with Danish Technological Institute we designed and produced five hundred finisher medals for Redbull's Stand-Up-Paddle event "Midsummer Vikings 2022".
The medals was made from a mixture of shredded seaweed from the coast of Denmark and natural based biodegradable plastics.
